报告摘要:

Despite decades of intensive study, the fundamental mechanism responsible for the rich phenomena in cuprate superconductors remains unresolved. Although this family of materials exhibits chemical and structural complexity, they all share a common motif of two-dimensional CuO₂layers separated by charge reservoir blocks. Intrinsic spatial inhomogeneity within these layers gives rise to a highly nonuniform electronic landscape and complex coupling, making it difficult to disentangle the key interactions that drive superconductivity and intertwined exotic phenomena. Taking advantage of Bismuth-based system, we try to explore and understand the properties of cuprate at two dimensional limit. In this talk, experimental efforts spanning local spectroscopic imaging to macroscopic transport measurements will be presented, with a focus on the interplay between spontaneous symmetry breaking, phase transitions, and the superconducting diode effect in the monolayer limit.

个人简介:

蔡鹏,中国人民大学物理系副教授。2016年于清华大学获得博士学位,随后在复旦大学开展博士后研究。在中国人民大学从零建设低温超高真空隧道谱学等实验平台。长期致力于发展并运用低温扫描隧道显微谱学(STM/STS)等实验技术,在原子尺度上对高温超导、关联绝缘体、拓扑关联物态进行探测、识别与调控。相关成果发表于 Science、Nature 及其子刊、Physical Review Letters 等物理学权威期刊。主持和参与多项国家重点研发计划等国家及省部级科研项目,并获得国家级青年人才计划及省部级人才计划资助。
