报告摘要:

Dicke superradiance, which enhances the collective atomic emission rate from linear scaling to quadratic Nscaling for an ensemble of atoms, stands as a cornerstone in quantum optics. This phenomenon has found widespread applications in laser physics and quantum precision metrology. However, a natural question arises: Can the scaling of superradiance be further enhanced beyond the Dicke limit? In this talk, we introduce two effective strategies based on waveguide quantum electrodynamics (QED) to address this challenge. The first strategy leverages two-photon bound states in a nonlinear photonic waveguide to induce super-correlated radiance, achieving an enhanced scaling of N. The second approach introduces a set of remotely controlled ancillary atoms that modulate the superradiant emission of the target atomic ensemble through engineered interference effects. This mechanism enables a tunable superradiance scaling of Nα where α>2.

个人简介:

王治海,教授,博士生导师,国家级青年人才。研究方向为量子物理和量子光学。近期主要从事量子开放系统、波导电动力学以及量子精密测量的理论研究。在Phys.Rev.Lett., Phys.Rev.A等 SCl杂志上发表论文60余篇, 主持科技部重点计划(政府间科技创新合作)项目1项,国家自然科学基金委青年项目1项,面上项目2项,专项项目1项获得吉林省首届优秀青年基金支持。
