报告摘要:

In recent years, many generalizations to the Bekenstein-Hawking entropy have been proposed, e.g., Tsallis entropy, Kaniadakis entropy, Barrow entropy etc. While the applications of these entropies have led to interesting results in both black hole physics and cosmology, there remain difficulties and confusions in the theoretical understanding. For example, in the literature, one finds debates concerning whether the Hawking temperature should also be modified, or whether the mass of the black hole is still the same as the thermodynamic energy. In this talk, I will discuss a possible route to give a consistent treatment of these issues, by considering the effect of generalized entropy on gravity. In other words, there should be a "modified gravity" that corresponds to generalized entropy. By utilizing Jacobson's method of deriving Einstein equations via thermodynamics, we will see that generically generalized entropy leads to "just" GR, but with a modified Newton's constant, which is now confusingly, area-dependent. I will discuss how we can possibly understand this.
