报告摘要:
Spontaneous scalarization is a mechanism that endows black holes with scalar hair only when a specific field exceeds a threshold, thereby allowing them to evade weak-field tests. In this talk, I will explore rotating scalar clouds and scalarized black holes within the framework of Einstein-Maxwell-Scalar models. These models can exhibit a tachyonic instability due to non-minimal couplings between the scalar and electromagnetic fields, which may lead to the condensation of the scalar field around black holes. It is noteworthy that scalarized black holes have been shown to possess stable light rings. I will also address the nonlinear (in)stability of these stable light rings within this context.

王鹏,四川大学教授,博士生导师。本科毕业于北京大学,于美国加州理工学院获得博士学位。主要研究领域为引力理论和弦理论,目前研究兴趣主要集中于黑洞物理学、数值相对论、弦低能有效理论及规范/引力对偶等。
