报告摘要:

We discuss, with a concrete theoretical example and real data, how strong gravity systems and observables could assess the nature of dark matter, or at least part of it. In the theoretical modelling, I will focus on fuzzy dark matter and bosonic stars. The real data example will concern the GW190521 gravitational wave event.

个人简介:

Carlos A. R. Herdeiro, full professor in Aveiro University, Portugal. He received his Ph.D. in theoretical Physics from University of Cambridge. He focuses on strong gravity, cosmology, high energy physics and mathematical physics, in which he has published over 190 articles, including 14 in Physical Review Letters. He is a founder of the Portuguese Society for Relativity and Gravitation, of which he has been president (2018-19), vice-president (2016-17 and 2020-21) and currently presides to the General Assembley. In 2020 his work was cited by the Nobel Committee, in the Scientific Background document of Nobel Physics Prize.
