报告摘要:

Recently, it has been found that some static black hole solutions can possess two photon spheres of different size outside the event horizon. In this talk, we first consider images of the black holes illuminated by accretion disks and celestial spheres, which may provide unique observational effects for the future detectionsof black holes with multiple photon spheres. We then discuss quasinormal modes of ascalar field, which are associated with circular null geodesics, and show that there exist long-lived and sub-long-lived modes. Finally, the waveforms of time signals produced by scalar perturbations are constructed in the time and frequency domains. The late-time waveforms can consist of echo signals and a following sinusoid tail,which is controlled by the long-lived or sub-long-lived modes.

报告人简介:

王鹏,四川大学教授,博士生导师。本科毕业于北京大学,于美国加州理工学院获得博士学位,曾在美国爱荷华州立大学从事博士后研究工作。主要研究领域为引力理论和弦理论,目前研究兴趣主要集中于黑洞物理学、数值相对论、弦低能有效理论及规范/引力对偶等。
