报告摘要:

Equilibrium continuous phase transitions demonstrate universal critical exponents near the critical point. Also for far from equilibrium phase transitions cross the critical point in a finite rate, the Kibble-Zurek mechanism (KZM) reveals an universal scaling between the spontaneously formed topological defects density and quench rates cross the critical point, with the exponent decided by the corressponding equilibrium phase transition critical exponents. However there are experimental findings of breaking of KZM in the fast quench limit and also in the finite size limit, by using the dynamical phase transition models build from the AdS/CFT correspondence, we found not only universal dynamics that agree with KZM but also universal properties beyond KZM in the finite size system and in the fast quench case match the experimental observations.

个人简介:

曾化碧,扬州大学教授,2010年在南京大学获得博士学位。曾在葡萄牙里斯本大学做博士后研究,曾任台湾(省)中央大学客座助理教授,2016年起在扬州大学任教。主要研究方向为引力/规范对偶与非平衡量子多体性质研究。在Journal of High Energy Physics, Physical Review D, Physical Review D(Rapid Communication), Physical Review D(Letter), The European Physical Journal C等杂志发表文章共计30余篇。
