报告摘要:
A fault-tolerant quantum computer is on the horizon but still at least a decade away. In recent years, quantum computing on noisy intermediate-scale quantum devices has received great attention. Many algorithms developed for noisy devices are based on variational principles. In this talk, I will introduce a novel non-variational quantum algorithm, which is promising for near-term application. We can demonstrate that this algorithm can accelerate the non-variational simulation of quantum many-body systems even when quantum computing has a finite error rate.
