报告摘要:
The widespread applications of Michaelis-Menten kinetics in enzymes kinetics have persisted since their discovery. T. L. Hill demonstrated a more theoretical approach and general results in the characterization of cooperativity in enzymes kinetics. In this talk, I first introduce the background of the book“Cooperativity Theory in Biochemistry: Steady-State and Equilibrium Systems”. Then, I show some derivation of stationary distribution of ligand binding for small systems without and with explicit interaction cooperativity, using grand canonical formalism. Finally, some applications in microbial growth are also discussed.
个人简介:
Junwen Mao is a professor of physics in Huzhou University. She obtained Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Thermophysics from Universityof Science and Technologyof Chinain1992, and Ph.D in physics from Zhejiang University in 2006. Her research interests include statistical physics and computational biology.
