Stochastic process has a glorious history in physics, chemistry and biology. Due to the advance of single-molecule techniques, stochastic modeling and computation become more and more useful and popular recently. I will talk about two different research works related to nonequilibrium statistical mechanics and single-cell biology using stochastic models. One is the mathematical theory of martingale structure and integral fluctuation theorems for general thermodynamic functionals of diffusion processes under second-order averaging. The other is the nonequilibrium mechanism of drug synergy between activator and noise enhancer in HIV reactivation therapy.
个人简介:
Hao Ge is an associated professor in Beijing International Center for Mathematical Research and Biomedical Pioneering Innovation Center of Peking University. He obtained Phd from Peking University in 2008. His research interests include stochastic mathematical physics and biomath.
